Me, dark lips and winged liner are the best of friends. I adore darkening my lipstick with a black liner as I love the way it looks on my pasty skin. I love a simple winged liner with a dark lip - I feel it looks classy, hot and it looks like a lot have work as gone into it. As I just said previously, adding a black liner to a lipstick is an ideal way to bring a red or a purple into autumn, giving it a dark edge and grungy feel.
For my eyes I used a Mac Paint Pot in Mooncake (Review here) with a little of Bitter from the Urban Decay vice 4 palette (review here) in the outer corners and underneath the eye. I wanted the lips to be the main statement of my makeup, So I made sure I was using Bitter lightly on the lids. Using a reddish shade brings out the colour of my eyes more, and compliments my blue hair. Bitter is going to be my autumn go to, as it looks beautiful used subtly or built up for a bold shot of orange/brown. I then popped on a bit of winged liner, mascara and some eyelashes. Did my brows as usual and added Diva from Mac on the lips, lined with a little bit of black liner and blended. Such a simple look - I love a dark lip and winged liner with a little warmth with the eyeshadow!
